Children's Ministries

Trinity acknowledges that our children represent the present as well as the future of God's Church.  For that reason, we have many activities that provide fun, education and Christian fellowship for children of all ages.

Lighthouse Ministry

The second Sunday of every month, Children's Church is held at Trinity.  Known as "Lighthouse," this ministry provides an exciting array of worship, singing, Bible games and fun for children in Grades 1 through 6. Lighthouse meets in the Fellowship Hall at 10:15AM (during the regular Worship service).

The Logos Program

Every Wednesday, Trinity is filled with the sounds of children and laughter. For two twelve-week semesters each year, children ages 3 through Grade 6 come to Trinity for fun, fellowship, music and learning.  From 3:10 to 3:55PM, a small snack is given to children as they join in a time for play and homework. Classes begin after the children gather in a prayer circle at 3:55PM, share their prayer requests and join with the other children and adults in prayer.  From 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM, the children rotate between Bible Classes, Choir and Crafts. A wonderful home-style Dinner is served at 5:30PM, with a number of volunteers acting as table parents for up to eight children. Dinner is followed by a table game, then one remaining class until 7:00 PM.

The Cherub part of the Logos Program is offered for children ages 3 through Kindergarten. The Cherubs remain in one classroom until Dinner, and usually have a small treat in class. They are not required to stay for Dinner, but are invited to do so if accompanied by a parent. They are not required to stay after dinner, although supervised play is available for them until older siblings are finished at 7:00 PM.

The parents of all Logos participants are asked to help in some way during the semester, serving as Instructors, Dinner Setup/CleanUp Helpers, Table Parents, Cooks, Servers, or Tablecloth washers.  For more information about the Logos Program, contact Karen Schearer at 610-929-9966.
